Designing services that help people create value together.
The most meaningful work in organisations and society is often the hardest to recognise. Throughout my work, I've explored how people participate, collaborate, and create value within complex systems – from public services and civic participation to urban mobility and AI-supported work.

Design Approach
Good design begins with understanding.
I approach service design by first understanding the challenge from the perspective of the people, organisations, and systems involved. Rather than beginning with solutions, I use research to uncover relationships, challenge assumptions, and identify opportunities for meaningful change.
The four principles below guide how I approach every inquiry, from framing the problem through to designing and evaluating the response.

Start by understanding before solving
Every inquiry has taught me that the first framing of a problem is rarely the right one. I use research to challenge assumptions before designing responses.commendation starts with your goals, ensuring our strategies are tailored to your business & industry.

Technology should support understanding
I don't begin with technology. I begin with people, organisations, and the work they are trying to do. Technology becomes valuable when it helps people better understand, recognise, or act

Design for meaning, not compliance
People rarely engage because they're told to. They engage when services connect to what they value, need, or hope to achieve.

Design systems through human experience
Systems shape everyday life, but people experience them one interaction at a time. I use systems thinking to understand complexity while designing experiences that feel meaningful and usable.
